Church Life

What is Your Experience?

holyghostrevival

When you leave your church gathering/service/meeting/whateveryoucallit do you feel the need to change your life/self or work harder at being a better christian because all that was talked about was you and your life, or do you feel an attraction to and deeper love for Jesus Christ because all that was talked about was Him and His gloriousness?

When you leave your church gathering/service/meeting/whateveryoucallit are you excited about what the Lord is going to do in your life, or are you excited that you are participating with the Lord in His?

When you leave your church gathering/service/meeting/whateveryoucallit have you only heard one person’s view of Christianity or Christ (possibly the same person you hear every week), or did you get to experience the portion of Christ in every brother and sister there and see a vast and grand expression of the Living Lord because all were allowed to express Him?

When you leave your church gathering/service/meeting/whateveryoucallit do you spend the rest of your week doing your own thing with your own family, or do you get together with others in your church and talk about the ways you are knowing and experiencing the Lord, and do you spend time with the Lord with them?

Just fyi: things don’t have to be the way they are.  I know because I’m experiencing the other.  I’m experiencing the reality of a vast and grand and glorious and truly everything Jesus.  And I’m experiencing it with others, not on my own.

And you can, too.

I always leave the sunday gathering bound and determined to experience more of Christs life–be it with others or not–for I have learned to be content with my circumstances by depending on him that lives within me–and yes I do so want to share him with others–but when I get set back in that area I just enjoy what I have with him.
