To the Saints

“…to all who are beloved of God in Rome, called as saints: Grace to y’all and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.” ~ Romans 1:7

To the church of God which is at Corinth, to those who have been sanctified in Christ Jesus, saints by calling, with all who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, their Lord and ours…” ~ 1 Corinthians 1:2

To the church of God which is at Corinth with all the saints who are throughout Achaia…” ~ 2 Corinthians 1:1

To the saints who are at Ephesus and who are faithful in Christ Jesus…” ~ Ephesians 1:1

To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are in Philippi, including the overseers and deacons…” ~ Philippians 1:1

To the saints and faithful brethren in Christ who are at Colossae: Grace to y’all and peace from God our Father.” ~ Colssians 1:2

Paul liked to start out his letters to the churches by reminding them who they were: saints. The greek word used for saints also means “holy ones”. In other words, these folks were called out, set apart, sanctified, and different than the rest of society; these folks were saints. And guess what? If you are in Christ, then you, too, my friend, are a saint – a holy one. You may not always feel like it (I know I don’t), but you aren’t holy by your own endeavors or feelings; you’re holy because you’re in Christ.

To the Saints Radio Program

Recently, an opportunity arose for those of us in Austin, TX. We have started a two hour radio program called To the Saints which began on Sunday, January 15th!

Why To the Saints? We have a strong desire to call our brothers and sisters onward to fullness in Christ. Just as Paul started his letters reminding brothers and sisters who they were, we desire to do that, too. “Hey, saints! There’s more to Jesus than salvation; let’s explore Him together!”

What’s the purpose? To make known the unfathomable greatness of our Lord, Jesus Chris,t and to help other believers take Him as their all. To show forth more and more of God’s Great Purpose, and to draw the saints into His all-encompassing Life. We long to finish the race well, to grow up into the full stature of Christ, and to see the magnificent beauty of Christ fill the earth.

What are the deets? Every Sunday afternoon (for as long as the Lord has it) from 3:00 to 5:00 CST. It airs on The Bridge 1120 (KTXW) in Austin, and it streams live at thebridge1120.com and on The Bridge 1120 app for your mobile device. We’ll have the program segments posted on the program website (tothesaints.com) Sunday evenings so you can download them to listen to at your leisure.

Just tuned into to the saints. Excellent maiden broadcast! Am so looking forward to the next one.

Thank you for starting at the Godhead’s very biginning, in relation to His eternal purpose in Christ;as up against the more scholarly approach, in relation to mans’ redemption-also in Christ. It’s the difference between what we’ve been saved from and what we’ve been saved for. It’s the rest of the Gospel the church desperately needs to hear.

Grace and peace be multiplied to you all.

Wow, thank you so much, Julio! I love this: “It’s the difference between what we’ve been saved from and what we’ve been saved for. It’s the rest of the Gospel the church desperately needs to hear.” Yes and amen! I know that it was the Gospel that I didn’t realize I had been missing for so long, but when I heard it, it just resonated deep within my spirit. Thanks for listening and sharing with us, brother!

      For His increase,
      R.C.
