God Cannot Do This Either

I thought we could close out the week with a little riddle that falls in line with the whole “God Cannot Do This” theme.  I heard this when I visited Israel back in 1995.  Out of my group, I got the closest to the answer.  I’d love it if you’d give your guess in the comments.  I’ll answer this riddle for you next week.  (If it’s not answered in the comments before then.)

The Riddle

What does a bus driver always see,

a shepherd sometimes see,

but God never sees?

The answer is only one word. (Ok, two words, but one of them is an article.)

The word starts with the letter “c”.

Next Week

We hear back from brother Thomas, and Bridget (hopefully) finishes her Martha and Mary series.  Have a great weekend!

Thus far, the only thing I can think of is “customer”. That’s not right, is it?

What about something to do with change? Like, a bus driver is always moving, going to new places, a shepherd stays in one place for a while and then moves on, and… God never changes?

That doesn’t sound right either. Blast.

Yeah, the whole “c” word thing was tough for me, too.

Was I even in the ballpark with that last answer?

Nope. You were probably closer with the first one. 🙂
