Happy new year! It’s now 2015; can you believe it? (I’m sure that you can, because it has now been 2015 for a few weeks.) 🙂
With the new year comes new things here at 3rd Race. We’re now in a new place training to plant new churches, meeting new people, discovering new depths of our Lord Jesus Christ, and experiencing His new mercies every day. New things also inevitably bring changes, and there are some changes in store for 3rd Race.
One such change will more than likely be fewer posts. We’ve already waited till the middle of January to start back, and our new schedules with the training are demanding even more of our time. Our goal is to post at least once a week, and our hope is to post at least twice. We are not going to promise anything, however, because the Lord can direct in any way He sees fit. So, we could post up to 4 times per week, or we could post nothing in a week; we’ll follow the Life of the Vine.
Another change will hopefully be more guest posts. We are joined for this season of training by some old friends of ours, and we are trying very hard to twist their arms into posting on the blog from time to time. Also, we should see some more posts from brother T-Man (Thomas), and we might even see one or two from brother Wesley.
Behold! The Changing!
This Arlo and Janis comic immediately reminded me of the New Creation. Our own copyright date has changed! If we are of Christ, then our “copyright date” is no longer of the old, or first, Adam; we are now of the new Adam, the last Adam – Jesus Christ Himself! Moving forward, everything is under His copyright – IN CHRIST. Everything from before this copyright change is null and void. The old creation or the old man is gone; we’ve put on the new man – Jesus Christ. Amen!
In conclusion, we’re glad to be back. I’m sure there will soon be posts and podcasts born from our “break” over the past month or so, and our hope is that we will continue to share Christ with you and you with us. He is our hope, our passion, our all. His image and dominion are our goal. His purpose is our purpose. He is our Christ, and we (you included) are His Body.
Thanks for reading and sharing. 🙂
